MURALS AND SIGNAGE
Wondering how to get started. Don’t worry, we got you!
Whether you have a finished design or are looking for guidance, we will keep your brand’s story and needs in mind as we work to help your business’s presence grow!
Phase 1: Discovery
We will chat to learn more about you and your space. Dive into a brainstorming session and explore the mood and feel for the project together!
Phase 2: Quote
We send you a mood board curated to your project and an initial estimate based on the size, scope, surface and complexity of your project.
Phase 3: Contract Agreement & Deposit
To proceed to the design phase for the work, a signed contract along with the design deposit will need to be sent to us. The design deposit is 50% of the agreed upon price. This deposit will cover the design phase as well as the supplies needed for your project. Once we receive the design deposit and signed contract we will begin work on your designs and schedule the project.
Phase 4: Design
The fun begins! We’ll start by sending you 2-3 concept sketches for you to review. We rely on your clear, timely, and honest feedback in order to arrive at a final design you and your team love. One round of revisions is included after a concept is chosen. Additional revisions will result in an additional fee which we will notify you about prior to continuing work.
Already have a finished design? We’ll skip right over this step and place you on our schedule!
Phase 5: On-site Magic!
We will show up on the agreed date, set up, and get to work! We are usually only on-site between 1-6 days depending on your specific project needs. We’ll be documenting the progress for social media and welcome you to do the same! We can be found and tagged @kchowstudios. Please also note upon completion of the work, the remaining balance will be due.
I’m ready to get started!
FAQ
How should the wall be prepared?
The surface should be cleaned and ready for paint. If power washing is required it should be done prior to the on-site arrival date. A primer and base coat can be painted on the wall before the mural work begins to reduce the timeline.
Will a rough surface texture affect the design?
Yes, the texture of the wall allows for additional interesting textures, shadowing and layering. Depending on the amount of detail of the design we can discuss if there will be any concerning distortion or unwanted additions to the design.
